Coolfin Mature Cheese
Award Winning Mountain semi-hard cheese, made with our own pedigree cows fresh summer milk. Handmade directly on our farm on the foothills of the Sliabh Aughty mountains. Our cheese boasts a good depth of unique flavours, lasting notes of mild nutty creamy buttery flavours, with a natural handmade rind with a smooth texture. Similar to Gruyére style cheese. Suitable for Fondue accompaniment. Dishes such as Quiche and Croque Monsieur. Enjoyed mostly as a natural cheese served on a cheese board. All parts of the cheese are fully edible from the inside out. Maturing process lasts a minimum of 10 months.

An Award Winning (UK) Parmesan style cheese extra matured to develop those smooth and delicate flavours with caramelized tones. It has a natural handmade rind which can be eaten and is excellent for melting; for pasta, fondues, sauces and even just grilled on top of bread or potatoes.

Opening hours for the month of December is as follows:
Monday: 10am to 4pm
Tuesday to Sunday: 10am to 5.30pm
Closed from 3pm Christmas Eve 2024 until mid-January 2025.
Orders placed on Thursday - Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday or Wednesday due to the perishable nature of the products. €15 standard shipping within Ireland. International shipping prices will vary per region.
